Zuffa closed out a busy 2009 with a strong WEC card. There were no title fights or huge names on the card but the action was what fans have come to expect from the little guys. Bonuses

Six fighters took home bonus checks last night as Donald Cerrone, Ed Ratcliff, Scott Jorgensen, and Takeya Mizugaki all earned “Fight of the Night” nods, Anthony Njokuani picked up “Knockout of the Night” for his finish of former International Fight League standout Chris Horodecki, and Brad Pickett earned “Submission of the Night.” bonus, and Cerrone and Ratcliff each cashed a “Fight of the Night” check for their performances. All traditional bonuses were in the amount of $10,000; Jorgensen and Mizugaki’s second “Fight of the Night” award was worth a smooth $5,000 to each fighter.
