MARCIN HELD

Age: 18
Record: 9-1

Polish sensation Marcin Held went undefeated in 20-plus amateur bouts, and he has compiled a pro record of 9-1. The 18-year-old BJJ practitioner can fight at either 145 pounds or 155 pounds. Held has made a name for himself in his home country, and now he’s primed to do the same throughout the rest of the world.

20s

GEORGES ST-PIERRE

Age: 29
Record: 20-2

Be very afraid welterweights (and perhaps middleweights), Georges St-Pierre hasn’t even turned 30 yet. GSP has demolished his pasts even opponents, including legends Matt Hughes and BJ Penn. GSP dominates his opponents with his wrestling skills to such a degree that he is seriously considering trying out for the Canadian Olympic wrestling team. But perhaps more importantly for the sport of MMA is GSP’s crossover appeal, as he has appeared in major commercials for Gatorade and Under Armour.

30s

FEDOR EMELIANENKO

Age: 33
Record: 32-2

Despite Fedor’s recent submission loss to Fabricio Werdum, he is still the most dominant heavyweight in the history of MMA. “The Last Emperor” holds victories over both Nogueiras, Mirko Cro Cop,Andrei Arlovski, Tim Sylvia, Mark Coleman, and Brett Rogers, to name a few. The humble Russian will be back on top of the non-UFC heavyweight division before too long. Just watch.

40’s

RANDY COUTURE

Age: 47
Record: 18-10

Randy Couture hands out lickings and keeps on ticking. The former UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion is the forefather of dirty boxing and has revolutionized MMA with his clinch skills and smothering attack. “The Natural” is also older than the combined age of Jon Jones (23) and Jose Aldo (23). That’s pretty old, but no one puts Randy in a corner.

50s

DAN SEVERN

Age: 52
Record: 93-16-7

The hair and iconic mustache might be more salt than pepper nowadays, but make no mistake that Dan Severn is still “The Beast.” After 16 years and 116 MMA fights, the UFC Hall of Famer isn’t slowing down yet, having fought (and won) twice in 2010. But, then again, it’s not like anyone is going to be brave enough to tell the 52-year-old that it’s time to hang up the gloves. Go ahead, dare ya.
