More thoughtful criticism of MMA from the boxing world today as Bernard Hopkins spoke to BoxingScene.com. The former champ said he would feel “suspect” attending an MMA event and compared the sport to pornography. “I’m not wrestling a guy with panties on and his nuts in my face,” Hopkins said. It’s a tired, offensive argument, one that’s especially rich coming from “The Executioner.” I guess holding a sweaty guy is sweet science as long as you’re both standing up.
