The UFC’s next blockbuster event is more than a week away but this weekend is filled to the gills with meaningful fight cards.
“The two title fights are getting quite a lot of national interest from the MMA scene," notes promoter Chris Zorba of the 145lbs and 170lbs championship tilts.
"It’s the most electric match-up I can think of at the moment in British MMA," Zorba notes of the middleweight clash between Paul Cahoon and John Phillips.
“I thought it was a fantastic war. I really enjoyed fighting Peter; he’s a very talented guy," noted the Manvers Fight Factory welterweight.
OMMAC IV Report: 10-0 with nine subs, Kaobon's Paul Sass is knocking on the door of the big time whilst Wayne Murrie cements himself as a top UK welterweight.
"I'm rolling with world class guys and sparring with some of the UK's top fighters every day, so we'll see what happens on the night," Gladden reveals.
"I don't see any danger from him apart from his ground game, and I'm just not going to entertain him with that," Young notes of his talented opponent.
