Today the UFC and Spike TV finally quashed rumors that former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar (#5 Heavyweight) was fleeing MMA in favor of a big WWE Wrestlemania payday or simply retiring to the solitude of his Minnesota property. Instead, MMA’s biggest draw will serve as a coach on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter opposite top contender Junior Dos Santos (#7).

Lesnar has been off the radar since his TKO loss to current champion Cain Velasquez (#1), and Dos Santos recently expressed his frustration that he might sit out much of the year waiting for a title shot against Velasquez, who is rehabilitating a surgically repaired shoulder. The two will likely meet in a UFC Heavyweight Interim Championship bout or simply in a top contender match; either way, the winner of their TUF season-ending bout gets a healthy Velasquez next.

The Ultimate Fighter Season 13 will feature welterweights exclusively, and the cast will be revealed one month before the season premiere on March 30.
