Chris Lytle won Submission of the Night for his kneebar finish of Brian Foster, Cain Velasquez won Knockout of the Night for his stoppage of Antonio Rodrigo Nogeuira, and Fight of the Night went to George Sotiropolous and Joe Stevenson. All bonuses were in the amount of $50,000.
Announced attendance was 17,431 with an additional 400 fans in attendance at an on-site viewing party. According to UFC President Dana White, the gate was $2.5 million, the largest sports gate in Acer Arena’s 10-year history, and UFC 110’s merchandise sales exceeded the previously top-grossing event, a concert by English metal titans Iron Maiden.

At the press conference, Dana White said that Melbourne would be the UFC’s next Australian stop, despite the fact that MMA is currently not legally sanctioned there.
White also said that if the winner of Mir vs. Carwin is injured or unable to return quickly for a title shot then Velasquez will get the next shot at Brock Lesnar.
Known for his game face and serious demeanor, George Sotiropolous was beaming at the press conference.
White also said that the UFC had no plans to visit Brazil until Rio de Janeiro was awarded the Olympics but now a trip to Brazil is on the table.
