A Wild Week

Hey Guys.For my first blog on FIGHT!, I wanted to talk about how crazy this last week or so has been.First, we’ve been working hard on my new website, www.urijahfaber.com , and got it up and running.The site looks great, so stop by and see for yourself.

Ok, so I got the call last Friday about my fight being called off.That was a bummer, but I totally understand why they did it.I had already made plans to attend the UFC in Atlanta and watch Chuck Liddell’s fight.From there, I just flew out on Saturday and went to the UFC and saw Chuck lose...which kinda sucked.

I jumped a very early flight out of Atlanta on Sunday to Sacramento.I was in Sacramento for about three hours when I got a business call that a potential sponsor wanted to meet in Los Angeles.So…after being home for a few hours, I caught a flight to LA to go meet with the sponsor. Went to dinner that night and went and toured their factory the next morning when I got a call from my dad.

My dad informed me that my grandfather in Kentucky was very sick.I needed to go see him.So I booked a flight from LA, back to Atlanta, and then Atlanta on to Kentucky.I made it in time to see my grandpa before he passed away which I was very happy about. I spent some time with my family and was on a plane back to Sacramento.

I was in Sacramento for two days, then took off again to San Diego.I’m the best man in my buddies wedding and went down there to party for his bachelor party.We all had a great time and it is always good to cut loose with my friends.

Finally, I’m in Sacramento for a while and it is time to get back to business and continue preparing for my fight on November 5^th.For those of you in the area, I’m having a seminar at my gym, Ultimate Fitness, on September the 27^th from 12pm to 5pm. After the seminar there will be a Q&A and I’ll sign some autographs and take some pictures.Should be a fun time for anyone interested in the sport at all. What up man? Just read your blog sorry about your grandfather. I have watched you fight for a while and you hold it down man you got swag for a white boy I have been training for mma for a year and a half had my first fight in july won it by first round knockout got another one coming up in november but anyway I am a fan I support u keep doing ya thang and good luck in november.

Whats up Urijah I like your character you are considerate but in the ring you do your thing,very non-stop and exciting. I like your form of training you use nature and your buddies for inspiration, thats off the chains man Im hoping to watch U in Nov. and the whole showcase.
