Tom “The Filthy Mauler” Lawlor’s favorite healthy breakfast is a tall stack of oatmeal “mancakes.” To make them Filthy-style, mix the ingredients below and prepare like regular pancakes.
3/4 cup quick-cooking oats
3/4 cup oatmeal fl our
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3 egg whites
1 cup almond milk
1 scoop protein powder
Medicine Ball Slams won’t win you any points with the old timers at your local health club, but they will improve the reactive strength of your back and abdominal muscles.
You can start slamming by holding a medicine ball with both hands and standing on the balls of your feet. Raise the medicine ball above your head, and slam it to the fl oor as your knees slightly bend and your heels touch the ground. Catch the ball with both hands on the bounce, and repeat the movement for 60 seconds.
